LA Rams Up
A little bit about the folks at Rams Up.
Your host Mark:
I am a lifelong resident of Southern California. I grew up in Ventura County, rooting for the Rams in the waning days of the Fearsome Foursome, and then the Eric Dickerson era.
Later, I lived in Los Angeles County. I stuck with the Rams through many several losing seasons and a move to Missouri, of all places. Then, finally, the Rams took center stage once again with the emergence of the Greatest Show on Turf.
That was followed by another dismal stretch of football, although we were treated to the performance of some great players, especially SJ39, the Rams all-time leading rusher.
By the time the Rams returned to California I was living in San Diego County. By drafting players like Aaron Donald and then hiring Sean McVay, they were set to once again take the NFL by storm. It's been quite a ride since then.
I was so enthralled with this team that, in early 2021, I decided to start this podcast and the ensuing YouTube Channel. I hope you enjoy them both.
His Special Assistant Matt:
Matt join the Ram nation right around the time Kurt Warner, Marshall Faulk, Isaac Bruce, Orlando Pace, and Torry Holt were making mince meat of the rest of the NFL. Now, he is Mark's Rams whisperer - reviewing content, providing episode ideas and pet peeves, and occasionally joining Mark.
Regular Guests: Tom Courts and Paul Walia:
Tom and Paul were regular listeners and longtime Ram fans that eventually connected with Mark. Now, they join for podcasts and YouTube videos to talk all things Rams - especially discussions about the Rams roster and our favorite topic of all - the NFL Draft.
